ALL OF OUR PUPPIES ARE IMPRINTED AT BIRTH

What Is Imprinting?
All of Our puppies are imprinted at birth until they leave for their forever homes.

For puppies, the imprinting period is during the first 16 weeks of life, we imprint the first 8  weeks.  We believe that imprinting the first eight weeks of life gives our puppies an over all advantage to a great head start to life.

We start by hand delivering all of our puppies to make sure they are healthy babies.  All of our puppies are raised in our country home and handled multiple times a day, while they are awake, sleeping and eating, this is a superior advantage.

We do development exercises which were designed to stimulate the neurological system and have multiple benefits that we believe improve cardio vascular performance, stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands.

All of our puppies are well socialized and are exposed to 3 different (working) scents even before their eyes are even opened, they are exposed to different sights and many loud sounds included banging, lightning and thunder simulations, gun shots.  We also expose our puppies to many different textures such as water, snow, grass and gravel this is also very important.  We like to give them different experiences as well, such as nails being trimmed numerous times by hand and also by a dremel.  They receive lots of interaction with other dogs, this is just as important.

All of these early experiences makes the puppies more tolerable to stress, and a greater resistance to disease. We believe strongly in using these tools to produce the very best dogs that will excel in all areas of their future lives.

We are a 4 Generation Hobby Kennel that breeds for quality not quantity.  Our puppies are part of the family and the well-being of our puppies is our first priority.

We do not ship our puppies and we don’t recommend Air Travel.

We have a lot of out-of-state puppy clients and we do recommend if choosing to fly, you’re puppy should be in a Airline Approved Carrier and It is HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you’re puppy travels with you as a carry on in the cabin of the plane.

Every STATE and AIRLINES have different policies on puppies/dog’s flying and we highly recommend looking into your airline of choice for their policies and The U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE for State to State and/or Exporting to another country. You are responsible for letting us know what YOUR STATE’S and AIRLINES policies and Regulations are.

**PLEASE consider meeting time frames for obtaining A HEALTH CERTIFICATE. Veterinarian appointment’s for us are 2-3 weeks out. Thank You.

Circle H Labrador’s highly recommends waiting preferable until 18 months at the earliest and no later than 2 years of age for spayed or neutering.  We have done intense research on this topic.  Please check out our facts and links tab for more information regarding this.

Dew claws have a purpose and a function, especially for the Labrador’s.  Not only does the dewclaw help with grabbing objects it also helps to prevent torquing of the ACL. There are many tendons attached to the dewclaws and the Removal of Dew Claws can lead to carpal arthritis. In addition, new research indicates that there is a correlation between dew claw removal and tendonitis in working breeds.

For more information on why we

DO NOT REMOVE THE DEW CLAWS  - please visit our facts and link tab
